What will my rental cost?

October - April: Mid-Week (Mon - Thurs, per night)  £75.00
October - April: Weekend (Collect Fri - Return Mon)  £295.00
October - April: Week (7 Days) £550 .00
May - September:  Mid Week (Mon - Thurs, per night) £99.00
May - September:  Weekend (Collect Fri - Return Mon)  £350.00
May - September:  Week (7 Days) £750.00

 

All prices above are inclusive of VAT and Insurance - subject to approval*

What is the booking deposit?

For reservations made more than 6 weeks in advance of the hire, the booking deposit is 50% of the rental cost. For all other reservations, we require payment in full at the point of booking.  

What is the security deposit? 

At the start of each hire we take a refundable security deposit of £750.00. Provided there are no end-of-hire charges (e.g. damage, missing fuel, excess miles) this will be returned to you in full. If there are any end-of-hire charges, the difference will be refunded.  

Please note: Although we endeavour to process your refund on the same day, once actioned it may take up to 5 working days to reach your account (this part of the banking process is sadly out of our hands). 

Who insures the vehicle?

If you are unable to provide your own insurance, this can be organised through County (subject to approval).

If County insures the vehicle what is the excess?

Our standard excess for this vehicle is £750.00

Please note: In certain circumstances our insurers may reduce or increase the excess at their discretion.

Can we have more than one driver?

Of course! Subject to approval, additional drivers can be added for a small additional cost. 

What are the collection and return times?

All branches are open from 8:30am onwards Monday - Saturday. (Our Stockport branch is open from 9am on Sundays). Due to the handover, our last collection time is 4:30pm on weekdays and 11 am on weekend days.

Please note that our vehicle handover is comprehensive and may take up to 1.5hrs to complete - depending upon your requirements.

Your vehicle is due back at the same time you collected it or within opening hours - whichever falls first.

Out-of-hours returns are available for a small additional fee - please note though that the vehicle will not be checked in until the next working day.

How many does the Campervan sleep?

The campervan can sleep up to 4 adults, but is really designed for families of 4.

What facilities are on board?

Our campervans come equipped with a fridge (including freezer compartment), hot and cold running water, 2-burner gas hob and a gas fired grill. Fire safety items are also included.

The water tank can hold up to 60l of fresh water and there is plenty of storage space for all of your belongings. 

What about bathroom facilities?

We’ve packed a lot into our campervans but they’re not quite big enough to hold a shower or a toilet – however most good campsites will provide you with these facilities! 

Is the Campervan easy to heat?

Hot air is provided by a diesel-powered heater and the temperature can be easily adjusted.

What else is included?

We provide a number of additional items to ensure your campervan rental really is a home away from home! These include, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, cutlery and a kettle. To help keep the campervan clean and tidy, we also include a doormat, pedal bin with liner and a dustpan and brush.

Also included is the recommended Campinggaz cylinder – you’ll just need to top it up.

All of our campervans are fitted with a multi-rail and are available with a drive-away inflatable awning (subject to availability) which significantly increases the living space. Along with the awning we will also provide 1 camping table and up to 4 camping chairs upon request at no extra cost.

We have one bike-rack which is available at no extra charge, upon request (subject to availability)

What should I bring with me?

You’ll need to bring bedding (pillows/duvet/sheets or sleeping bag) and we recommend using a mattress topper for additional comfort.

You'll also need towels and other linens (e.g. tea towels). We also recommend bringing an oven mitt if you plan on using the grill.

You might also like to consider pots/pans, washing up liquid and other kitchen items.

Most importantly though you’ll need a sense of adventure!

Can I bring my pet?

Yes! All of our campervans are pet-friendly. For canine companions we even provide a “doggy care package” – free of charge!

What if I am allergic to dogs / other animals?

We endeavour to present all of our rental vehicles to a “show room standard”. However, we cannot guarantee that allergens will not be present when your hire commences.

What is the Camping and Caravanning Club Privilege Scheme and how does it work?

As members of this scheme, each of our rental campervans qualifies for a discount of up to 30% off the pitch fees at participating Camping and Caravanning Club sites throughout the UK.

In each of our campervans you will find a copy of the Camping and Caravanning Club Privilege Guide, which lists all of the participating sites - to help you to choose the perfect location throughout your journey.

When you've selected the Club Site you'd like to stay on, all you have to do is show them the Privilege key fob (which can be found on the keys of your hire vehicle) on arrival to claim your discount.
