County Car and Van Rental is a fast-growing vehicle rental company, now looking for enthusiastic, flexible, customer-focused individuals to work as valeter/drivers at our offices.

This is a dynamic and exciting role involving the preparation of rental vehicles to an exceptional standard for collection by or delivery to the hirer. You’ll be expected to become fully skilled in all aspects of vehicle valeting and preparation, including interior cleaning, carrying out minor repairs to bodywork and equipment, presentation and refurbishment of bodywork and final presentation to showroom standard.

A large part of the job also involves moving vehicles both around and between sites, in an efficient, careful and safe manner. Delivering excellent customer service is also essential in every aspect of this job – because you’re always representing the company, and your customers come from both inside and outside County.

Attention to detail and a willingness to undertake hard, often physical work in all conditions, are essential character traits. Skills, Experience and Person Specification

• Flexible, and willing to vary tasks and hours of work, including weekend work
• Must be over 25, owing to the requirements of our vehicle insurance policy
• Experienced in a similar position, or at least within the automotive industry
• Willing to work to the highest standards of detail, presentation, and within deadlines
• Be able to demonstrate the highest standards of driving safety and professionalism
• Must possess a UK-approved driving licence
• The driving licence must be clear of any DR and IN endorsements
• Possession of 7.5T entitlement on that licence is desirable
• Possession of a CPC is desirable
